I ordered from Lance Tactical twice. On the first occasion, I received the product I ordered with no problem, although it took far longer than originally quoted. It's a nice jacket. This is the reason the review is 2 stars rather than 1 star.
On the second occasion, I was sent the wrong item in the wrong size and appear to be stuck with it, as I cannot get a response from customer service. I describe the negative experience below, which I warned Lance Tactical I would do if I did not receive a response by January 10,2020 (over a month after my original order).
On approx. December 2,2019, I ordered an extra-small sized Covert Element jacket from Lance Tactical. On approx. December 15, I received a medium-sized CliffRise jacket. Unexpectedly, this package came from China.
On December 16, I emailed Lance Tactical asking them to send me a prepaid shipping label so I could return the jacket for either a refund or an exchange. I received an automated message assigning me a ticket number and promising a response within 3-5 business days. I received no response, so I emailed again on December 22, 26, 30, and 31,2019, and on January 6,2020. I still have received not response.
Lance Tactical's lack of response comes despite their stated return policy. Given that I purchased this product partially in reliance on that return policy, this seems to be a deceptive and unfair business practice.
Also, Lance Tactical has been having a "Closing Down Sale" since late October 2019, when I first came across their website. However, they remain in business today (Janary 20,2020). This appears to be another deceptive and unfair business practice.
I will also be disputing the charge for the jacket with my credit card company. I am considering alerting the Federal Trade Commission because, judging by the reviews on this and other sites, my experience with Lance Tactical is not unique.
