If your wanting acting classes that cost over 2k for online and only 4 mins of training each class with a coach then it's for you! ( you can learn more from YouTube for free) This is nothing but a complete money GRAB! It's so unorganized, you don't know who's class your child is to sign in with, show cases get canceled without notice and your supposed to just wait for a email when it's been rescheduled. (still waiting)
There's times no coach's are online and they give you no instructions on what to do for showcases. The showcase is nothing but a joke. Agents don't even show up to them!, and the one that does (not a real agent btw) tells you to keep taking classes $$ as it doesn't matter how many commercials/movies you do it's the classes that matter on your resume. If you want to get your child into real acting go to Additions! Auditions! Auditions! Don't waste your money on this your child will get nowhere and you'll be broke in know time.
Update to your response:: My son is Braun, I also sent in the billing information to confirm we paid for the second package. There has been multiple classes we have tried to join with no coach, along with no emails letting us know who's class he would be joining each day. No weekly email saying who will be coaching classes for him to join that week. (nothing was sent to spam as I also checked) I've sent emails and txts to John asking what class will we be doing with no reply back. It got to the point my husband had to FaceTime John to ask what it is we should be doing for scripts, monologues, and commercials as there is no instructions at all on what our son should be working on. I had to keep emailing John for our sons last showcase as to what we needed to do to join. The showcase was late over a half hour waiting for a agent and only 1 showed up (9:30pm) just to tell everyone to keep taking classes. My son was ready to do the June 20th showcase but that was canceled without an email. I emailed John then he told me it was canceled stay tuned for another email still waiting. Classes are great for learning but how is it that experience doesn't matter on a resume only classes matter? It's like telling Tom Cruise his movies don't matter on a resume it's the acting classes that do. Tom cruse NEVER took acting classes. What I've learned in the month of having our son enrolled was it was very unorganized and paying over 2k to spend 4 mins with a coach in each class seemed more like a money grab that's my experience! Thanks for your reply back..
So since we don’t know your real name. We don’t know who you are. And how to address it with you. We have received no correspondence stating any of the above from anyone. Please email joe@Societyperformers.com so that i can help you with your comments and concerns. Let’s address it: there’s almost never been a moment where kids have shown up to a zoom class and there hasn’t been a coach there. If there has it was a very rare last minute change that needed to be made and was emailed to the client. Again it’s very rare. Based on a tech glitch etc. As well as Sometimes if classes get a little bit larger, the coach will immediately text another coach, and then they split the group. So that kids get more time. As for the Agent showcases. There’s always two on. Always too professional agent/managers on there to watch the kids perform. Never has there ever been a time where kid has shown up to a showcase and we have not had an agent on there. As for giving you advice to stay in class, that’s probably the best advice anybody could give you. And that doesn’t mean you have to stay in class with us. Just means that an actor Hass to keep training. I’ve had clients that are on series. They shoot 22 episodes which is about nine months of the year. And then they go back into a class. Show if you think there’s any actor out there that’s working that learn how to do it via DIY or video on YouTube you are sadly mistaken. I urge you to email me. Joe Lorenzo. The owner. And I will happily address all of the concerns above. However to just go on and lambaste us for this, not even come to us first for any sort of help/ remedy, It’s just not how you do business.
