Hey, man. Being a songwriter in regard to sites like MUSIC XRAY is tough. I've had several songs put on HOLD now with zero to cash in on in a few months. Got some "playlist" action, but that's not really what I was looking for.

I READ THIS REVIEW and totally agree with it--

"I submitted a song. The so-called producer charged $30 to listen to my song. You can see from his listing that he isn't very concise on what he's looking for, even references "content can be broad; no swearing or explicit sexual references." And his so-called feedback: "Not quite what we're seeking." I paid $6/word for "not quite what we're seeking." REALLY? REALLY? How about he tell me what he was specifically looking for, or what he liked or didn't like about the song? Again, ARE YOU F**KING KIDDING ME?! "NOT QUITE WHAT WE'RE SEEKING." $30 PLEASE! THEY ARE HELPING THESE PEOPLE RIP OFF ARTISTS.

This is what the so-called producer requested:
Chris Woods
Owner Manager - Alignment Management"

WHOMEVER Chris Woods is--he's a p.o.s. And MUSIC XRAY should toss him from their "PRO" ad ranks. I got the same $30, "not quite what we're seeking" b.s.-----

If you don't have the time to review a song and make the effort to tell the writer A LITTLE SOMETHING about it/why it doesn't fit/whatever, you're making MUSIC XRAY look like a flat-out racket.

A real shame.
