After checking out various VPN's, reading reviews and trying a few free trials I decided to go with TunnelBear because it seemed like a trustworthy option to allow me to access sites not allowed in my country of residence and also to protect my privacy while online.
Whereas the free trial was fine, reviews great, and simple format were enough to influence my decision to sign up for a year with TunnelBear, in less than a month's time I feel as though I have wasted $50. (non-refundable). It begins with Netflix. TunnelBear has been unable to adapt to Netflix's new no-proxy policy so I can no longer access Netflix (which is banned/blocked by my internet provider). Also, the speed of my internet has been so negatively impacted I can't download or stream effectively so I rarely use TunnelBear, meaning I can't access the US websites that I need a VPN in order to do so. Simple things like PBS kids... So basically, I feel totally scammed by TunnelBear. And, they haven't answered any of my questions posed via their help section of the app in order to help me improve my TunnelBear experience. Seems they just don't care about their customers.
