I was searching for an android app so that my family could monitor my 84 year old father with Alzheimer's whereabouts and activities. I admit that I did not do my normal full on research when I chose Thewispy as the product to use - there was a sense of urgency at the time to find something. And what I read, it appeared to be a good option. WRONG!
I followed all the directions after paying their fee in order to get the product set up. Right from the beginning there were numerous problems. 95% of the options you are supposed to have access to didn't function - returning an error. Trying to contact someone was unreal. When you speak to someone (in Hawaii?), they tell you to send a text of your issues using the same number and to await a response. The response comes via email that first says a ticket has been created followed by instructions to follow to correct the problem reported.
This went back and forth for weeks. I paid for a product/service that did not function as advertised. I followed each corrective function always having the same result.
I have literally spoken to ONE person for about 30 seconds - and when they answered the phone, they said, "hello". No company name. No actual name of the rep. VERY SKETCHY.
Two months passed and still no actual working solution. I sent them an email (to the several email addresses they used in contacting me) and requested a refund. The response was the usual - a ticket created followed by the issue has been referred. NO REFUND issued - and no communication why not. I sent another email demanding a refund and got the same response. I also included that they do not have permission to make any charges to any form of payment they may have kept on file. Same response.
SO BEWARE. DO NOT BELIEVE THE FAKE REVIEWS GIVEN ABOUT THIS SERVICE. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THEM AT ALL. DO YOUR RESEARCH AND STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE.
