WW has 4 tiers, 1st Tier is the "super expensive', 2nd Tier is "expensive", 3rd Tier is "economy" and 4th tier is free. I was paying to be in the 2nd tier under banquet halls. I was on the first page right after the 1st Tier listings - perfect! The problem was that after someone sent me an inquiry, WW would recommend 6 other venues that WW thought the bride would like. WOW - I paid for the expensive listing (to get the bride's attention) only for the bride to be redirected to some other advertiser. Explains why I did not receive a commensurate amount of bookings relative to the price I was paying for advertising. I am no longer advertising with WW; and my listing with their new partner, theKnot, will be expiring in early November and I will not be renewing with them. I just got off the phone with the WeddingPro advisor to discuss all this and she stated WW and theKnot do NOT have a fiduciary responsibility to their advertisers - their responsibility is to the bride. She stated it is what Jeff Bezos and Amazon do - it's all about the customer. So WW and theKnot are happy to take your money, but could care less about the success of the advertisers that pay their salaries.
