Complaint - March 2024: Do not buy a Golden lift recliner if you need it to work right away. We recently purchased an expensive Golden model through Liftchair.com, received it last Tuesday, it didn't function (even after extensive troubleshooting), and Golden has been completely unapologetic and slow to make things right. They initially sent the wrong replacement handset and then sent us the correct one via a slow shipping method (still not received) just to save a few bucks - and all the while, a family member hasn't been able to use the chair for the needed physical and medical reasons. So it's been a week now and we still don't know if the chair will function, plus there are no refunds (only replacement parts and/or repair technicians sent at their leisure) once you open the box. Buyer beware with Golden!
