I would now like to thank Trivago for their help with my dispute with Hoteling.com I have now received a full refund and am thankful to Trivago for that.

Dear June,

As a hotel search, trivago is not involved in the booking process between the user, the online travel agent and the hotel, and therefore cannot, in any way, claim financial responsibility for the transaction process between these parties.

On trivago, users can search and compare different hotels and prices on our site. We pull information from multiple OTAs (online travel agencies) and display the prices together. However, once a user clicks through to ‘view deal’, they are directed to the appropriate booking site which provides that price to complete reservation and payment details. Trivago doesn't actually have any involvement in the making of the booking.

It seems as though you are currently in contact with Lauren in our user support team and she is doing her utmost to assist you in resolving your issue with your booking with Hoteling. Please continue to provide her with all relevant info so she can do so.

It is now 50 days since I made a booking with this SCAM OF A COMPANY I have sent so many email to them only got a reply when I put a post up on sitejabber. TRIVAGO IS NO BETTER as they tell me to wait and my booking will go through do I wait like a lot of people on here, cancel at the last minute loose all my money, as booking is not confirmed with Hotel or do I go there and just hope for the best. NOT FOR ME I LIKE TO HAVE THINGS CONFIRMED. It has just cost me $96 to cancel after constant requests to this company to let the hotel know about the booking. They just want your cancelation fee which is very pricy. Now I have to wait and see if they put refund in my account. BOOKING # ******* FOR Hoteling T. [Hoteling Rep] Have put my booking number so you don't have to ask for it Hoteling Rep.
