Had an external hard drive I accidentally formatted. Was told that they would try to recover the files and if nothing could be recovered there would be no charge. Nothing was recovered. I fully expected to pay for mileage of the Tech, that isn't the issue. What I got back was an external drive that is now write protected. And what the Tech suggested was he would come back to take a look. At a cost of course. WTH. It would be cheaper to buy a new drive then to constantly pay for no work done. I do not recommend.
