I ordered some boots from northstar fur company a. K. a fluffywuffies.com a. K. a northstarfur.com on December 19,2018. I paid extra $$ for expedited 1-3 day shipping so they would arrive before Christmas. My total came to over 150$. I got a notification from the company on December 21,2018 with a USPS number and a Status: Shipped - Priority 1-3 days shipping, but when I went to track my order, the USPS website told me the package had not yet arrived, and the pre-shipping label was created by the company prior to bringing the package to their facility.

I sent an email to the listed email address on their website on December 26,2018 asking for a shipping update, as I had been charged and the money had been taken out of my bank account already and the USPS tracking number STILL had the package listed as "not arrived at shipping facility"... No response. I emailed again December 29,2018 expressing my concern for the less than satisfactory customer service and... no response. By January 02,2019, I STILL had not received ANY explanation or response from the company, so I proceeded to pursue a refund through PayPal.

Finally, I receive shipping notification that my boots are on the way. They arrived January 04,2019, and the paypal case was closed. On Jan 08,2019 I FINALLY receive my first correspondence from the company from a lady named Cindy, who apologized for the bad experience and explained that my order was lost in the holiday rush. Unfortunately, because the email address she wrote back to me on was not the same one from the website that i had been emailing, it landed in my Junk email, which i didn't check until February 05,2019. Upon finding the email - in which Cindy promised to send a second pair of boots of my choosing free of charge for my troubles - i immediately replied explaining that i hadn't found it in my junk mail until then and asked if i could please still get my free boots. And... no response. I emailed again on the 12th and the 16th and finally got a response on the evening of Sunday February 17th 2019 saying:
" Hi Kat, I can't send you a second pair sorry. This case got closed, and unless we were able to send them together to save on shipping, this promotional offer got cancelled."

This doesn't make sense, since she had sent the offer of the free pair AFTER i had already received my original order, so sharing the shipping costs would have not been an option. I've responded several times by email to ask for an explanation of this, but I have still not had any word. This is TRULY the WORST customer service I have EVER gotten from a company, and as a small business owner myself, I know how hard keeping customers happy can be.

I have been calm, cool and collected through this whole process, but now after all of this, I feel it is my obligation to share my experience with anyone i can reach who is possibly thinking of using this company. Don't do it! Plus - the boots were poor quality. The wedge soles are made of a cheap foam base that wears down after one use and stains upon contact with ANY dirt and are IMPOSSIBLE to clean. The faux fur falls out and is cheaply glued on - not even in straight lines. DEFINITELY not worth the price they are being sold for. I've saved all my correspondences from northstar fur and paypal to back up my complaint if you need further proof of my claims.

Tip for consumers:
DONT BUY FROM THIS SITE!!!
