Hyvee at this location has issues from the front door to the parking lot. They have two walkways but Hyvee is constantly parking their catering and floral trucks between these crosswalks. I brought this to the attention of the store manager. At first the store manager acted as though Safety was a major priority. But then came the excuses. He said he instructed his delivery folks to park 20 feet from the entrances. The very next day they parked an 18 wheeler tractor trailer between the two entrances on the SIDEWALK. Both ends of this trailer were within 2 feet of each entrance. I took a picture of it and emailed it to the store manager. This is where I found out that customer safety is not so much of a priority. The excuse I got from him was... "The trailer is a promotion of their seafood and it will be moved after the weekend" - This told me that promoting their seafood special was more important than the customer's safety. Notice the white Jeep in the picture I provided. The driver's view of that exit is totally blocked by the trailer. If a customer is injured due to this neglect I will be sure to provide the plaintiff and their lawyer with pictures and emails. Maybe a lawsuit will be a wakeup call because my warnings are not being taken seriously.
