My mother is receiving services from BAYADA for PT, OT, nurse, and a nurse aide. I noticed my mother had not had PT in three weeks. The OT & nurse that come into the home had made comments & concerns about PT not showing up and mentioned they would ask around. We saw family doctor, the office also mentioned they would look into it. Family doctor stated it would be more difficult to fire BAYADA as mom has all were services through them currently but if we have to, it might be needed. Mom said no, she is comfortable with the staff that she has and doesn't want to change services. We didn't hear from anyone. I called BAYADA myself. Attitude City. I spoke to a WENDY, who began to tell me, it is my responsibility to provide mom PT when they aren't there, maybe mom refused treatment, mom's insurance ran out, her scheduled PT was done, mom wasn't making progress, oh then she tells me the PT staffer is on a leave of absence from BAYADA. Wendy could not give me a straight answer. She kept giving me examples of what might have happened, why mom mother was dropped from the PT schedule. I find out when the nurse comes in, Wendy contacted the nurse to find out why PT dropped my mom. My whole issue is Wendy as the manager, should not be treating patients & their families like dirt. If you don't know something, kindly explain you don't know what is going on, you will look it to it. She blew me off. You are "in charge" yet you don't know what your staff is doing. You also don't know what someone else is going through and to treat them the way you did is wrong. You don't deserve to work with people when you can't provide common courtesy.

Our mother was recently sent to get medical treatment and physical therapy at Kingston Health Care Center in Kingston, Pennsylvania. Our mother is 72 years young and before her fall was doing everything for herself. Cooking, cleaning, shopping, paying bills, playing on the computer, - whatever she wanted to do she did. While at the center, our mother had told us that the catheter was hurting her, we mentioned this to the administrator. They claim there is no reason for the catheter to hurt. Our mother had some problems being cleaned up in a timely manner. We spoke about this. We were met with, "we doubt that is the case" or "we can't change a patient while food service is going on". They made excuses or would lie when we asked about when this was happening, they would not accept the fact they were not proving the care that was needed. They misses several doses of insulin the first couple of days while our mother was there. Her sugar spiked over 400. They had forged her medical records to show insulin was given when in fact none was given on two different days that myself, our mother, & my sister are 100% completely aware of. Again when we confronted them with this information we were told there was NO WAY this happened. The staff that was on duty signed out the insulin and it shows being administered. Days later our mother's sugar levels came down to a more normal level. On a Saturday afternoon while I visited my mother, she was sleepy, telling weird stories, and having these horrible jerking movements. I immediately got a nurse who dismissed my concerns. My mother was incoherent but the nurse claimed oh she was sleeping…dreaming that was causing her to jerk in her sleep. Long story short Monday morning, our mother was placed in the ER with a UTI & an PICC line infection. While at the ER the discovered she had a yeast infection of the skin and yeast infection where the catheter goes. Now this is two weeks later after we first mentioned to staff that our mom stated the catheter was hurting. Uneducated or is this negligence? Final straw was when we went to get her personal belongings. The staff refused to give them back. My sister made several calls which were never returned. She showed up that day after the night before being told night shift did not know where mom's belongings were. The woman was giving my sister the run around and finally gave her my mother's stuff. My sister was forced out the door without being able to inspect the box. Once she opened it, they stole the $10 cash mom had for the soda machine, they left the wallet, but took the money from it. This is the kind of nonsense that this facility is treating patients. They lie, cheat, and steal. Please be very aware not to send any loved one to this facility. Doctors in our area need to know this is not a safe place for our senior citizens to go. I thank god my mother has her mind and that she has support because if there are patients there without support, they are being mistreated and not being taken properly cared for.

CVS CAREMARK mail order service: Every time I refill my medications, there is ALWAYS a problem with my order. They delay shipping my order each and every time and other times like this time they completely cancel the entire order. This time I have had all I could take. I am now out of medication and will be for at least three days before I see my doctor. They have on file that I will not accept the brand name Tier 2 medication, which is such a high price. I can not afford to pay that. I will only pay for the generics@$15 or less. They still sent a medication of the Tier 2 price which I can't afford and it has never been opened. I spend hours on the phone with them trying to resolve the issue, only to find out the next day that the time spent on the phone was a waste of time. The staff is incompetent, the company is horrible to order from, and I have no where to turn. This has been going on for years. Something has to change. I wish they would file for bankruptcy.
