I booked a room back in December for April through Tickets At Work. The hotel stated they did not have my reservation. I reached out to tickets at work. They stated they would "open a case". I received an email from them stating there's nothing they can do and to wait because sometimes I may not receive a confirmation until 24-48 hours before the reservation dateā€¦.its odd that I booked the room in December, it's March, and their only response is "even though we cannot provide the hotel confirmation number, we can guarantee it's reserved." I went through so much trouble going back and forth with the hotel to figure this out since Tickets At Work didn't even bother to investigate. The hotel is almost sold out due to a festival that's going on the same weekend. If I did not do the leg work to get this resolved, I would've showed up to the hotel, and it would've been sold out if I had waited until 24 hours before the booking date as suggested by Tickets at work.
Take my advice: save the trouble and pay the fee extra dollars to book directly through the hotel to avoid any 3rd party issues.
