Faregeek sent me confirmation but when I couldn't pay for bags or assign seats, I called United Airlines who told me the agency retracted tickets immediately after they were paid for with my credit card. The confirmation # I was sent was bogus. I emailed Faregeeks.com and they sent me an itinerary, assuring me I was not getting scammed. When I tried to check-in with Unitied, I was informed Faregeeks had me flying from Missoula, MT to Denver, Then from LAX to Hilo. BUT, there was NO ticket for me to get from Denver to LAX so I had to pay an additional $388 to get a flight from Denver to LAX! I ended up spending the ENTIRE night and day before my flight on hold to Faregeeks because they don't answer their phones, it's just an all day message placing you on hold. They would not reply to ANY of my emails inquiring where my ticket from Denver to LAX was. I was supposed to be spending my last day in Missoula with my dying mother who was placed in a nursing home. I did not get to see her but for only an hour at 10:30PM! I had spent nearly 24hrs trying to figure out how I was going to get home and having to spend so much more $ and I didn't get home until 24hrs after my planned date because Faregeeks had me stuck in Denver with my next floight departing from LAX! This company should be imprisoned! I will NEVER see my mother again! They took the last 24hrs I was going to be able to see her away from me forever! THey didn't care when I emailed them crying and begging them to reply!
