My previous (5-star) review of TeleMedFirst's service was based on my first experience with them. Their service was relatively quick (2 hour turn around) and resulted in a script to my pharmacy. Easy enough. This is a follow up review to which I'd give zero stars, if possible because they lack follow up, even though they encourage it by providing a number to contact by phone or text with concerns or questions. After 4 doses of medication prescribed by TeleMedFirst I felt dizzy and at serious risk of fainting. So, I reached out to the number provided with a legitimate concern. Should I discontinue the meds? No response. Common sense says discontinue the meds. But, I'm one of those people who reads the tiny print, all 6 pages of 6pt.text, especially for "investigational" medication released to the public under EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) and it states "Do not stop taking without talking with your healthcare provider." I am trying to talk with my healthcare provider and have been trying for 12 hours and nobody responds. More importantly, I feel they were neglectful by NOT making me aware of the medication's risk to impact my BP. Their neglect could have had serious consequences for me. I have discontinued their medication while still waiting for them to respond. I will NOT use their services again. I have lost all confidence in them. Fast and convenient healthcare is a poor substitute for the tried and true. BE YOUR OWN ADVOCATE!
