There are over 5,000 complaints made to the Ontario Law Society against crooked lawyers every year, yet they investigate less than 5% of them, and only 2% result in any disciplinary actions, sanctions, or fines. Hundreds of victims protest and complain about the OLS on line as you can see here https://reddit.com/r/TheOntarioLawSociety but they hire a professional hacker that deletes negative comments. If you have a problem with a lawyer involving bill fraud, extortion, threats, etc. call the cops and crown attorney, NOT the OLS. They are the Great Pretender - A wolf in Sheep's wool.
Tip for consumers:
Call the police NOT the Ontario Law Society if you have been swindled by a lawyer. Also file a formal complaint with the Canadian Bar Association to document your problem in case a law suit results.
