I placed an order 2 weeks ago that still had not shipped. I emailed and spoke with customer service and this situation has not been handled well. I feek like VC has, AT BEST, failed in providing timely and helpful communication, but more likely, been intentionally deceptive. Not what I would expect from this company. The saying you get what you pay for is not applicable here because with the service received I would expect Walmart or Dollar Tree prices.
When I spoke with customer service yesterday I was told the order had not been processed and no furthet information was available. I requested to cancel the order and was told I couldn't and I'm responsible for the cost of shipping to return the merchandise. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told that she (apparently there's only one) was gone for the day and not back until Monday. Further, I was advised that the shipping department was my best option for follow up but that they were also gone for the day. This really confused me because later that night I got an email from the shipping department stating they had shipped the order. I guess they were still there, unhelpful communication or deception... you decide.
