I joined Match.com because I had heard of some people finding true love through these dating websites. Well I am here to tell you it had been one continuous nightmare since I joined Match.com and i cancelled just a few weeks of being with them. I found that a big scam was going on. I would pick guys at random to email but after the third guy not psnning out I began to see similarites smongst all of these men which were all butxone had an accent, three were either working in Africa longterm or going to Africa to sign a big building contract and therefore would not be able to meet me until they returned. In all cases, the men wanted me ti snswer many of their mundane questions by text, not on the phone or in person. Three of the men told me they loved me and we talked about me visiting them out of state after few weeks when they were to return frkm Africa. I thought how odd it was that so many of these men were going to Africa or slready there working. It finally dawned on me to do background checks on these men. What I found out made me want to cry because I felt used, vulnerable, and down right naive. All of them had lied about either their real name, what state they were actually living in, if they really were widowers, or if they were still married. Some were using fake names. Needless to say Match.com does not screen who joins their dating site so they say they can not be held responsible. Yet Match.com will continue to tske your money for months after you have cancelled. I can not help but think that Match.com pays these foreign guys to string along unsuspecting females for as long as they can just to keep getting that monthly fee that they charge. Many people have had to close their credit cards just so Match.com doesnt keep charging a fee after you hsve cancelled services. Bottom line is this: Do not sign up with these dating sites. You do not know if the person you are talking to is actually who he or she says they are.

Do not order from this website. I was charged double for boots supposedly on sale for fifty seven dollars and I look at my bank statement and it was a hundred dollars. I tried cancelling the order and the site says they have no record of it. Now I am in fraud dispute with the bank.
