I've been on this site a long time and finally made my first sale. My customer was not sent a check out link after I approved the sale. I was unsure what to do about this and so I created a new listing with the item and sent the customer a link to purchase... which they did. I then received an invoice from Bonanza for 30% of that sale. I was surprised by this so I reached out to their customer service. It turns out the 30% fee was charged BECAUSE I sent the customer an email... which I wouldn't have had to do had they been provided with a link to check out. The fee would have been lower had they been able to purchase the first time they tried. I've been going back and forth with customer service and they can't seem to understand this. It shouldn't be this difficult.
Hi Marnie,
Thanks for leaving this review. Sorry to hear about the trouble and sorry for any confusion. In our email exchange we did let you know the buyer received the checkout link, but for some reason chose not to complete the process. Since neither of us heard from the buyer we are unsure why that was. When an invoice is created, the FVF applied depends on the advertising level a seller selects. Since you had chosen the 30% level, that was the FVF applied to the transaction. So sorry for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused you. We would be more than happy to provide further detail or assistance if you wish. Please feel free to reply to our email thread. Thanks!
