Destroyed a watch I have owned for almost 25 years. Randy Ward is the only person to ever work on this watch after it was purchased new from an authorized dealer. He worked on it twice. Until now, it has never been to another watchmaker or has even been to Breitling. He failed to work on it 6 times when I had him do an overhaul (rebuild to original specs). I sent it to another watchmaker who confirmed that it is now ruined beyond repair! Used glue to secure a second hand after it fell off the 1st time! Now it cannot be removed. New movement is needed as the watch is running at 146 amplitude vs the 260 it's supposed to be, after an overhaul. He overhauled absolutely nothing and the money I paid him went to waste. Dirt and oil inside the dial and in the movement.
Ruined my dial with glue and scratches. Ripped off a luminescent marker. Scratched the paint off the dial. Body hair is in the movement. Hands and all other hardware were supposed to be all new due to an overhaul I paid for. Almost everything inside and out is still the same parts from 20+ years ago. Randy claimed that he gets his parts directly from Breitling and that he is Breitling certified. That is not the case at all. His work is again, sloppy, and careless. He ruined a watch I have had for almost 25 years and his work is a fraud! Come to find out, he overhauled absolutely nothing!
Paid him $733 in February of 2022. He took forever to return it to me, not responding to any of my text messages and calls. When I received the watch back, the dial had debris in it, the hands were misaligned, and he scratched up the case as well. I did not return the watch to him until it started taking on water, again. I have had to spend hours driving or shipping the watch back to him on several occasions, and it has always come back with issues. It is now October 20th, 2023 and I have since given him 6 chances to fix the watch. The watch is still broken - the second hand fell off the pushes are messed up, and he ripped one of the luminescent markers off, and a slew of other issues. A Breitling from 1999 did not survive his "repairs". Long story short, he screwed this watch up pretty badly and will not refund my money for the "overhaul". His typical behavior: does not return texts or calls, stalls and avoids you, and acts surprised when you finally catch him on the phone. Said that I was too hard on the watch and that "I pushed the reset button too hard" causing the second's hand to fall off. He refuses to refund the money I paid for it although he promised he would and blames me for the failures in his workmanship. The second's hand fell off twice, and the first time he said "Oh it's a parts failure". More like a skill and workmanship failure. Perhaps Randy was a reputable and high-quality watch repair in the past at some point, but he has gotten sloppy, careless, and does not care about his clients. He recently had to change his business name on Google to hide the recent string of bad reviews. Overall and currently, his work is sloppy, his communication is poor, and he gets angry and defensive if you point out issues that were not there. He gets super angry and says "That was there."! I urge you to take your business elsewhere as you will not receive quality work or decent communication from Specialty Watch Repair. He has become dishonest, unpleasant, and downright can't do a decent job without messing something else up. Come to find out, he overhauled absolutely nothing and ruined a watch that was going to be passed down in the family. Absolute disgrace to the world of watchmaking! Did not respond to my BBB case for 6 mo! He continues to create new profiles and personalities to write his own reviews on Yelp to boost ratings. I had to flag at least 25. A true scam artist - trust him with your precious watch? I would not!

North America HVAC sent a defective item, it started leaking as soon as it was installed. Unfortunately, I was out of the return window and North America HVAC would not help me out at all. They continued to throw fine print at me and did absolutely everything they possibly could in an effort not to replace the damaged item they sent me, including misleading me on whom to turn to. Told me to reach out to Carrier for a warranty? But this was not a Carrier part. I attached pics of what I purchased vs. what they sent me.

The part they were supposed to send me was made by ClimaTek. ClimaTek is actually them - North America HVAC, and the parts they send out to you are remanufactured, by them. Strangely, they sent me an item made by NBK, not ClimaTek. NBK is very upset that they were misrepresented by this company as they are selling NGK equipment as ClimaTek. NKG explained that North America HVAC was supposed to file a warranty claim on my behalf which they refused to do. Just google them and check out other reviews.
They only communicate via text or email as that is the best way they can really hide from complaining customers. Their customer service is awful and I would have absolutely nothing to do with them because they will leave you hanging. They got me for $250, left me with a broken HVAC, and absolutely refused to take responsibility. I have a small child who was very uncomfortable for days with a broken AC and they refused to help. Eventually, they said that my repeated requests for help were harassing to them and to stop contacting them.
