Our booking at English Camp World got cancelled very early on because of COVID-19, fair enough, and the company refused to offer a refund or even to talk to us. Our emails were left unanswered, they just simply hung up on us over the phone and our Facebook comments were immediately deleted.

Their official communication "In line with government recommendations in the UK and most other European countries, we won't be providing reimbursements" goes against the law and the actual UK governmental recommendation, which reads "Consumers can normally be offered credits, vouchers, re-booking or re-scheduling as an alternative to a refund, but they should not be misled or pressured into doing so, and a refund should still be an option that is just as clearly and easily available."

I'm okay with the cancellation but they lost all my goodwill after the misleading actions and the disrespectful treatment of a paying customer.

I'd never trust them with my child.
