I configured and purchased bought my second Xidax PC a little over two years ago. About a year after, I began experiencing crashing / BSoD problems when gaming. Sadly, Xidax support has just plain left me hanging and I've now got a 2-1/2 year-old rig that's just not good for its intended use. I've submitted countless screenshots and performed every test they've asked me to over the past month and they've basically just left me hanging without any real attempt being made to solve the issue.
I'm more or less forced to buy a new system for gaming, and I can tell you it is NOT going to be a Xidax PC this time due to the lack of support - support that is touted as being so fantastic, and was a big reason I chose Xidax in the first place.
On another note, while the idea of fully configuring your own system was intriguing, in the end, the need to select all the various components just goes overboard. As a gamer of course I want the ability to choose my processor and graphics card, but the other options you need to choose border on the realm of the ridiculous. Type of fans? Grade of thermal paste? You can't be serious. If I wanted to bother with these kinds of minor details I'd just build my own system.
