What a farce of a company. Bought a desk that arrived damaged so called customer services to arrange a replacement. I was told they would arrange a courier collection (the dreaded Evri!) and that I would be refunded when it was received back. In the meantime time I had to pay for a second desk in order to get a replacement.
Didn't seem right but, stupidly, I did it anyway.
Well, surprise, surprise the second desk also arrived damaged! That's two broken desks and two payments!
Frustratingly Evri kept failing to collect the damaged desks using various untrue reasons, eg unable to access property, collection cancelled etc (we were always home waiting for them and certainly didn't cancel anything!)
I STILL have a blinking huge package containing an utterly useless desk in my house. It's in my way and, until it is picked up I can't have a refund. Despite numerous calls la redoute refuse to use a different, reliable, courier service or offer any refund because they don't yet have the desk back. If I could drop it off on the blinking doorstep - I would! Instead I have to continually wait on for arranged collections that simply never happen.
Utterly appalling customer service by agents that get significantly aggressive in their response when you disagree with them.
I will avoid this company like the plague in the future and urge anyone else to do the same.
