I came to * and paid for 3 VA placements. The first set of 2 he tried to send to me - one didn't even show up and one left after a half day never to be heard of again. Neither of them ever did any actual work for me. He got 3 more weeks later. Two of them said they had issues with the pay, one of the two couldn't work the hours I'd laid out that was made known to Octotasker multiple times, she also had another job and couldn't work full time. So now it's 50 days later and I have 0 candidates. I asked for a refund. I was very very patient with them through all of this. They declined, stating "We do not work for free"... that's fine, however if you don't place me with candidates I paid for, its FRAUD. I paid for a service, it was not fulfilled. I have no interest in working with a company that continues to waste my time, and can't find 3 people to work.
They always had excuses. Saying anyone that doesn't want to work will make any excuse. Well isn't it your job to weed that out in the hiring process? That's WHY I hired you - to deal with that. I have never had this many issues hiring on my own. I would never recommend them to anyone, unless you want to be out money and not get any of your roles filled.

During our discussions, we emphasized the importance of treating your team well and fostering a healthy working relationship. We stressed that mutual respect and professionalism are key factors in retaining talented virtual assistants. It is essential to create a positive work environment that promotes productivity, engagement, and job satisfaction.
While we made every effort to find 3 suitable candidates who aligned with your requirements, it's important to acknowledge that the virtual assistants we placed have their own expectations and preferences. Unfortunately, 5 out of 6 virtual assistants that we placed did not feel comfortable working in an environment where they experienced rudeness and condescension.
We took immediate action when we became aware of the poor treatment the virtual assistants received. We replaced a total of 3 virtual assistants who decided to leave due to the unfavorable work conditions. Additionally, similar issues arose, and 2 more quit for the same reasons. We offered to do a 3rd round of replacements in an effort to address the situation as per our replacement guarantee and replace 2 virtual assistants as 1 was hired.
After you requested a refund, we explained our no refund policy which was disclosed on the hiring strategy call, service agreement, client intake form, and client success call. We emphasized our commitment to finding replacements who would be more suitable for your company culture. Our intention was to work with you to resolve the issues inside your organization and find virtual assistants who would thrive in your work environment but REFUSED your request to exclude people of color in our hiring process.
However, we understand that you decided to discontinue our services and blocked our communication channels. We respect your decision, but we want to reiterate our belief in the importance of non-discriminatory hiring and treating your team well to create a positive work environment.
