Roblox is an overall great platform with a ton of free resources such as free hosting of games, an amazingly easy to use game studio, and many other great and easy to use resources that are free. The main problems with Roblox is the fact that if you decide to create anything on the platform is that there is almost 0 chance you can make money off of it no matter how much effort you put in because you're gonna need a lot of money to market it and if it is successful you only get like 25% of the actual revenue in cash. Another problem is the fact that a lot of the games and items created are just plain bad quality or are straight up scams or something too but that doesn't mean that all of the games here suck. The moderation could also be a lot better but with seeing how huge they are, I would excuse them for some of the problems that happen on the platform. The business is overall a for profit company as with every other company so you can't really blame them for that. The also seems to have been experiencing a lot of technical difficulties recently too.

I have been using this platform for about a year or more and just finally decided to put up my two cents about it because of recent events regarding it.

The moderation for this site has been receiving a heavy decline lately as they do not respond to appeals anymore for they just aren't great. The platform is okay for the small scale that it has been developed on and the functionality of the website is just plain mediocre. I wouldn't stop you from using this site as a free player but I definitely recommend to you that you DON'T purchase anything off of the site as the developers should actually earn any revenue that they receive. If you are looking for another Roblox rip-off I would suggest just waiting a couple of months for BrickPlanet.com to come out or just use the actual Roblox platform but if you really want a Roblox-like platform now then I suggest that you use a smaller site as the experience will most likely be a whole lot better. The forums are also always pretty toxic and unfiltered so if you want to go there to just use the forums I would suggest finding another site like a Roblox subreddit or something else. I hope this review helps developers on where they need to work and I hope this acts as a warning for all people who consider using this site.
