I have a crypto dealer who is fabulous (CD) but wanted a back up one, and what a mistake I made! I did a sample run - buying only $100 in coin just to test the platform out. First of all, they have no "sign up" page or information! You fill out as you go and make tons of errors! The account was opened in 2 seconds but every time I tried to do something it was like "you need to complete this first" and every time a change was made or new paperwork submitted the account is locked for 24 HOURS! REALLY? To make a long story short, it took me over a week to get my assets out of BYDFi and their support was USELESS! How do these companies survive with no phone number doing everything by email? Every email I sent, they sent 2 and nothing they said was related to my problem! It would have been so easy to get on the phone with a human, explain and have it resolved! They even told me I needed to change the email address associated with my account which had nothing to do with the problem - only to lock my account another 24 hours? No thank you! Well, after a week I finally resolved the issue myself - no thanks to their support who doesn't seem to be able to read an explanation of the problem. Yes, I closed the account today because my assets were finally sent out! The thought of not having that stress, day in and day out with BYDFi makes me want to celebrate with a party! What a terrible thing to have to go through for something that should be so simple! With new accounts they need to say - complete this, this and this if you're going to be buying or trading coins (why else would anyone open an account) - instead of here's your account and then with every move you make - Ohhh...to do that you need to complete this first and, by the way, now your account will be locked for 24 hours! AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! Try Crypto Distributors - deal with the owner who actually cares! A horror of an experience with BYDFi!
