My garage door got stuck so I came across this company on Google and called them. A young guy in a t-shirt and a blue tooth shows up in a minivan (not in a service truck) and said that he was sent to repair the garage door. My first impression was that he is not a professional but yet wanted to try him. He looks at the garage door and starts complaining about it and telling me what all is wrong with it and finally tells me that he had to open up the whole garage door and it would cost $450 to repair that. I was shocked at that price and tried to reason with him why the quote is so high for such a simple repair job. Then immediately, he asked me to pay the $29 visitation fee that too in cash. Then I realized that was his intention from the beginning. Even though I didn't feel it right, I agreed to pay that via check just to get him off my property. He declined that and insisted that I pay by cash, which I didn't want to do as I wanted to keep a proof of payment. I finally offered him to pay via credit card, then he asked me to give my credit card so that he can note down all the details of the card and process it later, which I did not agree to. After some time, he talked to his supervisor in a middle eastern language and agreed to take the check. These guys are not professionals, stay away from them.
Later, I got it repaired by another company I found on YELP with good reviews for $78.00. See how much they wanted to rip me off
