Tl;dr - stereotypical scam from China moment, plus sketchy absence from my pins all of a sudden...
So I ordered this for a formal event and was surprised that it arrived a week earlier than expected. I had communicated with BridalFeel about rushing it so that it got here in time, but the rapid delivery made me think positive. However, when I pulled out the dress, it was so horribly wrong, as you can see from the photo.
First, the dress I ordered was US size 10. The plastic wrapping inside the delivery package was marked XXL with a sharpie. Hm. So not from NZ. Obviously. Perhaps I should have known that?
Secondly, the photo of the dress I ordered showed cap sleeves, and a lace bodice with a skirt in almost a coppery gold color. This gold is almost mustard yellow, and the bodice is merely 4 or 5 layers of champagne-coffee colores tulle covered with embroidery lace that doesn't even match. Also, it has those cheap little sports bra pads inside.
Finally, for a floor-length dress, the skirt only reaches my ankles in my bare feet. I'm 5'7".
Here's what I ordered vs what I got. Also, funny thing, I saved it on my pinterest, and now it isn't there. I literally looked it up for a friend two days ago to show her, and now the pin is gone.
All that to say, don't waste your money here. From what I have read, I don't think I will be able to return it without paying the same price in shipping.
