I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone hoping for a dependable security company that will make you and your family feel safe. There has been so many issues with the system, and I have only been a customer for around 2 months and I regret ever minute of service. Promotional credits for 3 months were promised, as well as a $100 gift card. The sales representative "Able Cendejas" & the District Manager "Terese Kent" are 2 of the most unprofessional individuals that I have ever came across, not to mention all of the other customers service representatives, and account specialist. I've been hung up on multiple times, no notations in the system of my concerns every time that I call. They "REFUSE" to allow me to cancel my service, and come pick up the equipment, even though they offer a 6 month cancellation guarantee with no penalty. My family & I feel very unsafe with ADT as our home security provider. If something so simple can not be honored and followed through with, and every representative has treated us like absolute garbage, why would we believe that they have our families best interest in mind. I have been on hold for over 2 hours at a time, and I'm even on hold with the corporate office while I writing this. I was on hold with the account specialist to get my service cancelled per their 6 month guarantee, when she randomly put the original dishonest sales representative "Able Cendejas" on the phone to tell me he never said what I was stating. WOW! The District Manager "Terese Kent" had guaranteed me that he would be taken off of covering my account, so I would never have contact from him again. "Terese Kent" will not answer my calls, the company will not cancel my service and I can't get any representative to do the right thing. They just leave me on hold to discourage so I'll just hang up. NO RESOLUTION! ABSOLUTELY DISRESPECTFUL! COMPLETELY DISHONEST! So much more has happened that I don't even have the time to write it all. DON'T GO WITH ADT OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!
Now I'm being told that the 6 month guarantee doesn't apply unless there has been a problem with the system 3 times or more. "ONCE AGAIN, COMPLETE MISREPRESENTATION FROM ADT, AND THEIR STAFF"
