WARNING! Jared Barnes charged me $500.00 to LIST my property on 2 Oregon real estate sites. Within 24 hours, I requested a PARTIAL refund because I realized Jared was price gouging. (Another realtor offered to list the property for $100.) I'm a senior citizen on a fixed budget, and within 24hrs I told Jared I wanted a PARTIAL refund.

Jared refused the partial refund even though it took him minutes to list the property online. Not only did Jared refuse to give me a partial refund, but he also threatened me with a lean on my property IF if reversed the CC payment. Along with his threat was his warning that if and when I sold the property, his on-call lawyer would charge me over $2,000.00 to remove the lean. Jared didn't care about selling my home--he just cared about profits. How do I know? After 30+ days, Jared, WITHOUT ANY PROFESSIONAL CALCULATIONS, suggested I drop the listing price by $60K!

In my opinion, Jared is a hustler gouging unsuspecting senior citizens by using the online real estate market in Oregon. The photo attached reflects evidence that Jared unconsciously listed "PRICE INCREASE" on my property listing? Then he told ME to contact Zillow to change it. Who increases the price on a listing in 2023? As of this review, my property sits online with a PRICE INCREASE. See photo. My advice...find someone else. The entire 60-day experience with Jared was a nightmare.
