On the 3 April at around 5am I woke to many of my clever dog CCTV cameras noisily buzzing? I fired up the app on my android phone to find I had to agree to your new terms and conditions, but the accept button was greyed out and so it is impossible to accept and operate the system on android? I borrowed my wifes Iphone and loaded the app on it. That worked and I was shocked to find 6 of my cameras, the ones buzzing now didnt work and couldn't be reprogrammed to connect back to my wifi? These were the older cameras looking at their serial numbers! You never got Alexa compatibility working, dismissing it as 'cameras too old' in an email reply. Are you under the illusion that killing my older cameras now will cause me to shop again with you? 🤣. I await a solution from you and have raised a support ticket? More than willing to report a positive ending to this sorry saga.
Update...it sems that you have changed the working current (I) requirements, because where as they were reliably working on longer than 1.5M cables for many years, they now go into a power up loop!
It seems very odd to me that these small 5 volt cameras that operated perfectly well on the end of the described cables for many years, now cant power up properly. If you think of the POE standard (power over ethernet), and I am talking about ethernet cables I had clever dogs powered by, connected to much shorter than the 100baseT specification limits, how can this be? Separately I have one ethernet cable serving a wired camera data and power, and on the same cat5e a second camera power only from two other manufacturers working reliably. Why are these clever dogs failing on cable from the same reel? I use a USB hub with a current monitor to power them. Prior to the 3rd April it didnt even show a reading with a clever dog plugged in, now its 0.1 to 0.2A. A sudden rise in current requirements.

They do not understand how to set up OTP security and blame user error and device cache which is it definitely isnt! I copy my long-winded last email reply to their fending off communication. It highlights the incompetence you might encounter, so worth reading if you have this issue to check or counter their nonsense.

I am extremely used to using an OTP for retail purchases, and use it on an irregular basis without any issue for bank and credit card authorisation, even for online banking, so its unlikely to be operater error. I am very familiar with using OTP. It is ONLY ASDA it fails me with.

I have tried from Safari, Chrome, Explorer, and even your own App on a new, fresh to any shopping or historic cache at all, Ipad Air2.

I have tried from two different PC's with cache cleared, (which is never needed for any other online retailer ever), and also on an Ipad Air2 which has never, ever, been used for shopping with you, or any other shop before ever! So no historic cache issue can be blamed for the failure. My android phone also fails! So 4 devices, same failures with no cache causing the issue.

I have comfirmed yet again with my bank that my OTP should end 4xxx. I also confirmed similar for my two credit cards, even though I never got to a point where OTP was even required for those. Those perfectly good credit cards that I have used in your store in person a lot and recently were declined online.

I tried both my registered credit cards from ALL 4 above mentioned devices after ALL cach was cleared, also including the Ipad that had never even had the ASDA app on it untill this test, let alone historic ASDA cache, which failed - error messages attached

I tried my debit card on
ALL 4 above mentioned devices, after ALL cach was cleared, also including the Ipad that had never even had the ASDA app on it until this test, which failed - error message attached.

Your system, since all cache was cleared including using a completely fresh and guaranteed uncontaminated by any historic cache device was used, (the Ipad2). But still the OTP number on the form your store presents to me for authorisation on checkout, and your store partially completes including the OTP, has the old OTP number 6yyy on it! Unsurprisingly it didn't get through my bank back to me as the bank are expecting OTP 4xxx, so neither phone, 6yyy or 4xxx) received a text to complete payment.

I will state again. I can use both credit cards and the debit card in any store in person, including ASDA, and I can buy from any online store worldwide EXCEPT ASDA. That does seem to suggest something is up at ASDA. This is especially so when cache is cleared and even a Virgin machine to any shopping, the Ipad Air2 was used and failed in the same way?

I know this is as frustrating for you as much as it is for me. But all the evidence points to ASDA having the issue, not my machines or my banks.

Until recently i have had no accusations of a breach of community standards. Suddenly there is a torrent of breaches? Why? One was regarding a pin of ethnic music. I cant know exactly what pin because the links for you to review the said pin take you to the file it was in, but doesn't identify the exact pin ever, which has been the same for previous accusations of breach. Since everything was just foreign music in that file, what exactly went against their standards? Is it because the music wasn't english or American? Racist? Its impossible to talk to anyone no matter how hard you try, and if you ever get an email reply, it quotes a link for their community standards which is completely irrelevant to my links, because I only save the occasional recommendation pinterest send me! If they had a problem, it was a problem before they recommended it to me, so th iney should never have offered it!
