Got the earrings, and presented them to my wife. At first, she looked happy, but after she closely examined the earrings, you could tell she was not happy. To her, they appeared very cheap looking with no weight at all.
It's been quite some time since I bought my wife jewelry, we've been married for 63 years, and started getting her things when I was in Okinawa, I was able to frequent Miki Moto pearls, and as a young GI I was able to purchase some pieces starting with our first anniversary. I think she's going to keep the earings.
