I am not one for doing reviews unless they provide positive feedback. However, I am going to break that rule in this case to spare anyone else the frustration of having a bad experience. I used George K Hashem CPA, PLLC 276 Newport Road, The Gallery Suite 218, New London, NH 03*******809 for my 2021 taxes and tried to develop a working relationship with him as a professional.

In December I signed a six-page disclaimer with him just to get my taxes for 2022 done with a 3/24/2023 deadline to get him all the files. On 3/4/2023 I provided a QB file with all income and expenses for a few rental properties to his online vault.

Because I had delivered files the previous year in his online vault, only to get an email two weeks after asking if could I send the files. I though it prudent to just drop him a note to Hashem, and let him know the file was there. I got an angry response that there is no guarantee that the taxes would be done and that he would have to file an extension. I was not demanding the taxes be done, I was just asking if he had the file I delivered. He has no problem taking all your time when he is not busy, but if you asked for a response back from a communication he blows a gasket.

When I sent him a note telling him I was surprised by his response, I got a call telling me that I needed to call him. When I called him he was with a client so I let his daughter know that I was just returning his request for a call.

When he called me back he was extremely aggressive suggesting that I was demanding my return be done before the deadline or anyone else's. He gave me an ultimatum and then hung up on me.

Taxes are not rocket science and certainly, mine are not that complicated where he should have been stressed out about them. Any competent CPA could probably wrap them up in the afternoon since he had all the previous years' information.

Hashem is way too busy to be concerned with customer interaction. I know it is tax season and this can cause additional stress, but a customer deserves at least an acknowledgment when you reach out to the professional. I would not recommend working with or wasting your time with this CPA
