I placed two orders with this company on Thursday. They are located just over 200 miles or just over 3 hours from my house. They promised the delivery on Friday. The order was to be used as gifts at a family reunion. When they hadn't arrived on Sunday, I checked the status. They hadn't been picked from nuts.com. I wrote an email to them, stating why I needed them quickly. No response ever except one initial email the first day. "Allow an additional 1-2 days." Um, hello? It's now 4 days. Need help with math? I responded with, "Not helpful. No packages today either. 202 miles away, 3 hours 23 minutes away and it takes more than 4 days to get to me? I've ordered from you for years now and was always satisfied. There is no reasonable way this should ever happen. I'm going to ask for a refund so I can order from wegotnuts.com or mountain man. I'll await your cancelation reply before I order. I'm so sorry."
No response.
By the next day I sent a message, "And now, no response and no packages."
No response.
When I got home at 7pm, the package was on our porch. Upon opening, all of the ice packs were water packs. Guess what happens to ice packs sitting in a warehouse for 4 days and chocolate setting on a porch in early September? I never got an apology, partial refund. Future credit or another communication from them. I've used them for years with only two minor problems before. They used to be a small family company. Apparently the company is now WAY larger than the family. I will never order from them again.
