Dear Friends,
In June 2023 we bought a rug produced by Henan Yilong Carpet Co., Ltd., for 5k euros. The salesperson Sally Sang. That was a beautiful rug, we have laid that in the main room and moved to our summer house. When we returned in September, a few weeks later we found a spot around 5-7 cm wide which has completely lost a pile. I contacted Sally and she said that it was my fault and the rug was in good condition before that was passed to the courier. To be frank we were very much disappointed because we did nothing wrong with that rug, just normal use and vacuum-cleaning. We suppose that was a production defect, we even turned to experts and they said that there probably was some toxic chemical spilled on the rug at the production and that just destroyed the pile. It was also very "surprising" that the salesperson just said - do not worry there are a lot of repair companies in the US, please Google! She does not care that I live almost 7000 kilometers away from the US. That is disgusting! Then they just switched the ignore mode on.
If that was our fault, we would never raise this case but that was not. If we cannot get any justice, then we will at least help other people to avoid the wrong choice. The pictures below are self-explanatory.
