1st red flag: They ("Top Gun of Texas") magically had a gun in stock that was sold out everywhere else and at a discount no less. I ordered it to see what would happen without providing a credit card, but instead selected Paypal and was never directed to Paypal during the purchase as would usually happen.
2nd red flag: They also asked for a preferred FFL but said it was optional. Please.
3rd red flag: they ask if you're a veteran like it means something, but then offer no discount associated with that, much less ask for any supporting documentation.
4th red flag: after placing the order I received 3 emails - one acknowledging my account, a second for the order, and a third asking for me to go to Paypal to complete "paymant".
5th red flag: the emails were from "guns-warehouse.com" not Top Gun of Texas.
6th red flag: they list an address and phone number for Midlothian, TX. The area code is actually a New Mexico area code, and if you do a Google map view of the address it's some crappy little strip mall location.
7th red flag: when I emailed them that their website screamed "scam" they didn't respond with a peep of protest, just silence.
Needless to say I didn't authorize the sale on Paypal.
Here's the website for these little 2nd Amendment patriotic scammers:
https://guns-warehouse.com/
BTW, if you're a real sucker you can buy a COLT 1877 BULLDOG GATLING GUN CARRIAGE 45-70 GOVERNMENT CALIBER 10 BRASS ENCASED DIRECT DRIVE BARRELS WALNUT CARRIAGE gun for only $47,537.90. Mind you that's a steal, because it's discounted from the original price of $50,039.89. The ". 89" is a nice touch - this seller had the value LOCKED DOWN. Seriously, they must think people are absolute morons to not see through this garbage.
