They sold us a rug marketed as washable. When we washed the rug in cold water with gentle detergent on gentle cycle, air dried, the rug was ruined. The rug shrank and the fabric was all pilled up. Instead of replacing the product they offered us a discount on a new rug. As if I would spend another dime with this crooked company. I suggest you look elsewhere. Don't fall for the slick marketing.
