I ordered different seeds from them and the overall germination rate was very poor. The worst ones were the super sugar snap peas: out of 30+ seeds planted, roughly 80% ended up rotting. The ones that ended up germinating looked weakly and eventually died off. In contrast, I also bought snap seeds from two other companies and the germination rate was 100% & speedy. This means that the issue was with the seeds specifically ordered from Park Seeds. I submitted a review on their website and I'm more than certain they will not be posting it publicly. I only see 5-star reviews for all their products, with several years apart.

I'm only on Rover because I happen to have a little bit of free time between work and school and I enjoy spending time with other animals, so money is not too imperative to me.
Regardless, I find it absolutely appalling how they claim to have a great 24/7 support, thus they must take a giant chunk from BOTH the owner and the petsitter (because it's clearly not enough to just exploit one party).
For example, they take 40% of what they charge for on-demand walks (if they owner pays $20, you receive a lousy $12, and you get $18 for every walk that they charge $30 for).
They also take a large chunk of any other service you provide: I charged $240 for a house-sitting and Rover took $48 from that amount (FOR WHAT!?), ON TOP OF taking a percent from the owner as well.
All they do is run the app and provide customer service (if you can call it that). I can see maybe justifying that if they actually offered proper training for those wanting to sign up as a petsitter. All they do is offer a 2-minute in-person leash test for those wanting to become on-demand walkers - they don't offer any other types of training and refuse to make it at least a little bit harder for those who are completely incompetent. This whole "certification" to be an on-demand walker is a complete joke!
There should be a written test about dog safety for all sitters signed up for the app (where you emphasize using backup collars/leashes!) and at least an hour-long basic CPR course.
It is incredibly unsafe and idiotic to have anyone who wants to "work" with other people's pets sign up and end up killing said pets (it has happened on numerous occasions on Rover, they are just really good at covering those incidents).
Rover is clearly not at all dedicated to making sure that safety comes first (you choose to test a walker's knowledge on Rover Cards over how to handle a lost or injured dog situation, or how to prevent these incidents to begin with. Priorities?)
For the amount of money they shamelessly take from you, I expect there to be a large office in every big city where they operate, with a team of trained on-call petsitters or certified emergency personel in situations that call for their intervention. Instead they rent a tiny room in an office building to run their lousy excuse for in-person leash training.
The majority of Rover petsitters that I know are booking their services outside of the app after being contacted by an owner. I as well have chosen to use Venmo or PayPal to do my transactions, and I actively encourage other people to do the same.
I refuse to succumb to this kind of corporate exploitation, and I make sure other people get treated fairly as well.
With being so incredibly greedy, you end up losing more business than the high prices can justify, and you fully deserve it.

The tags and the entire company are a complete SiliJoke!

I submitted my order for a tag over one month ago and I still haven't received it! Here's the gist:

The first time I ordered a tag, it came within a few days, but the order was incorrect and the tag was meant for someone else. I emailed Helene, the representative, and she put in another order for the corrected tag, which came 8 days later.
The corrected tag had incorrect lettering, so I emailed Helene again and requested a refund, since I was not happy with the incompetence of the company, and, at that point, it has been 3 weeks since I put in the original order.
I was told they don't issue refunds and will send me another tag, and 12 days later, I'm still waiting for that tag.

I would be less frustrated if they just gave me my money back and I could take my business elsewhere. I don't find it fair that I have to wait for my order for over one month and then be forced to use it because I don't want to waste the money I spent on it.
It seems that the more you complain about it, the less effort they put into fixing the problem, which is simply unprofessional. Hence the longer and longer wait times. One would expect that if you screw up, you'd own up to your mistakes by expediting any future orders for that customer.

At this point, I bought a cute little crafty tag from a small shop on Etsy with a much more reasonable price, because I don't want to be associated with such arrogant and sub-standard customer service that SiliDung represents. I feel terrible to have given them my money for an item I'm very much not satisfied with.

Furthermore, the tags themselves are definitely not worth the price and troubles associated with receiving them. One of the incorrect tags I have turned brown from standard use in two days of wear.
Also, it barely, if at all, glows in the dark: my dog sleeps in bed with me, and even though I knew his location in the dark, it took me a really long time to locate the tag on him. So if you're intrigued by the "glow in the dark" feature, don't waste your money. Every now and then you see a faint "glow", but definitely not enough to use it as a selling point.
Moreover, if you are planning on buying this tag, invest in a sturdy ring that attaches the tag to the collar, because the one it came with bent out of shape immediately and had to be replaced.

Contrary to what the company is trying to make me do, I do not intend to put any of their items on my dog to advertise their products any further. If I will end up using a tag made by them, I'll make sure to warn other pet owners, who might ask about it after seeing it on my dog, what a useless and overpriced piece of SiliTrash it really is.

I just view this company as a group of pompous amateurs who are way too busy and important to actually do a decent job selling an overpriced piece of junk. Good try (or lack thereof), but, GOD NO.
