I cancelled on June 2,2022. I did not want to renew so I cancelled and they billed me anyway. They make the refund process exhausting and not guaranteed. Strikingly is a simplistic, silly platform far inferior to so many options out there like SquareSpace, Wix, WordPress, Shopify or Webflow. They have no advantages over the other website-builder options so followed their cancellation process about a month before the renewal date of June 27,2022.
BUT(!) they charged me $192 anyway and won't refund!
There misleading/no-refund cancellation process is indeed a designed monetization channel for Strikingly. It is deceptive and predatory.
Not only do they ignore and/or obfuscate cancellation journey in their website, they deceitfully renew annual plans and fight hard against refund. Trust me, it's a battle. By design, they don't have phone support.
In fact, they installed a subscription to my PayPal account that I was unware of. Very clever.
I just can't have them keep doing this to people, so let's team up. I know you're frustrated too.
