You can't win! I thought I tried it after watching a couple of simularly priced items sell around $35 to $45. I had a price break point of $90 for an Ipod. I waited until the bid got to about $35 letting these two people fight it out and exhaust their bids, then jumped in. The person (or bot) by the name of "epperson" kept going. Then "camilovc" and several others came in. In the end I stopped at $85, I was out of bids and was no where near my price break point. Guess what after I stopped bidding the auction was won. The moment after! I wrote down the amount of times "epperson" and "camilovc" were biding on items in an hours time. "camilovc" bid 300+ times in an hour most on a TV and saw the name appear on multiple items after; I couldn't keep track and doubt a person really could. "epperson" bid about 127 times on one item an iPad at. 60 cents per bid thats 76 dollars in bids alone not including the final price of $98. Either these guys are bots or seriously don't care about lost costs.
