Do not purchase RV controllers MFG by Dinosaur Electronics here is the reason why.
Purchased a circuit board from a distributor for Dinosaur Electronics who make circuit boards for RV water heaters. The board failed and I asked the company if they could refer me to a local reputable dealer to test the board. Their response I am sorry, but I do not have direct contact information for any one in

The ignitor removed during operation will keep it from working properly
But will not damage the board. Does that same fuse pop when it is
Running on ONLY AC or Gas not both at the same time?
This means that they are the only ones who can test the board.
I explained all of the ins and outs of trying to get the board to work.
They finally said that the three year warranty was void because their 5 amp fuse failed to protect the board. Here is their response. Again, the fuse kept blowing from an issue with your T-stat/ECO If you kept replacing the fuse you damaged the board with a fault not caused by the board. If a new board is installed, you will further damage the new one by not replacing those first. We cannot warranty further damage or boards since this initial fault was no failure of the board, but the other devices and you replacing the board caused the damage. If you get that board into us, we can look at repairing it, but the board will have no further warranty.
Ok that's a good explanation I just started it up again on gas it works fine, same fuse.
When I do try to turn on the electric side both gas and electric kick on. That does not seem correct.
I went through two fuses that's all I had and it did not work. I took the RV down to a RV repair at the sum of $150.00 the same fellow who tested the old board and gas valve said I needed a new one of each so purchased, and installed. He had us turn on gas switch it worked then electric switch it worked. We went back to where we were staying it would not work blown fuse I did not have anymore fuses. Scheduled to have the same fellow check it again then that evening I felt I was being taken advantage of so canceled. Drove home and it worked.
But again with the gas and electric running at the same time when only the electric was turned on. That kicked the breaker to resistance heater. Let stand for an hour went back out turned on gas switch and it runs fine but the electric side has both gas and electric. Since its your board I am sending it back to you to have it tested since there is a three year warranty I would like to find out what's wrong.
