5 days before my mothers birthday I went to the Interflora website to order Flowers for her as I lived overseas. None available so I decided to order an Afternoon Tea gift basket. On her birthday I waited all day to get word it had been delivered, at the end of the day I got an email saying the courier had an issue and the order was delayed by a day. This forced me to tell my mother so she didn't think I had forgotten, this also ruined the surprise element of the present. The next day Interflora delivered to the wrong address so a neighbour had to bring it round. My mother was very polite but was clearly underwhelmed so I asked her to show me what she received. Instead of an afternoon tea basket with tea, cakes, breads etc….she got a cardboard box of random sweets and chocolate items worth less than £10. I felt embarrassed and humiliated. I reached out to Interflora demanding a refund and explanation but haven't heard back yet. Do not shop there, they don't care at all about making people feel special on important days and even less about customer service.
