Project Casting' constantly copy our posts from our Facebook page and posts them to their website. Unfortunately, they add to it, or switch the wording around to try and make it seem as if the info is coming directly from them. They use the words "xxxx company" is casting. This company adds additional info such as "Open Casting Call", "Looking for Actors" that is not on the original post. They've done this several times before, and we end up getting hundreds of emails from all over the world, which clogs our inbox and continues for months. It makes it extremely difficult for us to check the legitimate submissions and slows down our casting process.
Thank you for your community review and bringing this important subject to the limelight. Our goal has always been to improve diversity and inclusion in the entertainment field, and we continue to focus on new ways to make this possible. We do not steal posts, but offer a general area where individuals can find all open jobs in the industry. We scour all applicable sources so that our subscribers have one source of information. We are happy to repost with a direct link to your Facebook page/website or any other contact source if we have not done that previously.
As a community, we believe we are able to come together and impact the industry by streamlining casting and encouraging a comprehensive and encompassing hiring process. We believe that our continued efforts can have a dramatic, long-term effect on the segregated and exclusive practice exhibited by entertainment professionals.
