Just an FYI -- this company was zulob.com, then became zuyob.com. And now if you enter zuyob.com, you are redirected to their 'new' site -- HomeBacca.com

Below is my original review of zulob.com -- so be forewarned --

Just to keep you all informed -- this company is now doing business as HomeBacca.com

UPDATE 7/16/14 -- OK, in all fairness, they did reach out to me today; after I linked zulob.com and zuyob.com in a couple of different reviews. They said that they are not "scammers as I have stated a few times", apologized and offered me a refund, and that I could keep or dispose of the table. I accepted. Then they replied saying they would like me to reconsider my reviews, and informed me they had ended their relationship with the vendor of this table. First of all, you can't make an offer, and then after it is accepted put conditions on the offer; this is not reputable behavior. Second, and I just checked again, check for yourself... the table is still available on zuyob.com - it's the Ramsey Modern End Table by Baxton Studio. In fact they have approximately 300 listings available from Baxton Studios -- and I'm rounding down.

Even if I were to concede that they aren't scammers... I did afterall FINALLY receive something from them. They are so very far away from being reputable, I can't in good conscience change my reviews.

This is the single WORST online purchase experience I have ever had... and I do about 85% of my shopping online. So beware, don't expect them to live up to their own word, apologies, or agreements. If you are or were fortunate enough to have a good experience with zulob.com or zuyob.com -- consider yourself and lucky and head to the casino or buy a lottery ticket!

UPDATE 7/16/14 -- They have changed their name to ZUYOB.COM!

UPDATE 7/16/14 -- This is likely the last update, since the website is apparently "not available". Well, I finally received a table yesterday. To start, let's just say that the box had obviously been opened and resealed. Next, when you pull the table out of the box, the first thing you notice is the damage -- scratches, glue, seams that don't align, and the best part -- yes the best part - when you turn it over to attach the legs, this table has obviously been put together before. My assessment -- they sent me a table that was previously returned as damaged merchandise. WTF is all that can be said. But beware -- you know that scammers like this will just reappear under another name.
UPDATE 7/8/14 -- Still NO response from the shady company. And guess what -- their website is gone... If they come back online -- DO NOT PURCHASE form this company.
UPDATE 7/2/14 -- Well, since I was trying to be a good consumer and work with this SCAM of a company, I have passed the 45-day mark for filing a claim with PayPal. I wish I hadn't trusted and given this company a second chance. You can see that they responded to the initial posting of my review, and claim that "We greatly appreciate your business and feedback. We look forward to hearing from you." But this is so horribly not true, I don't really know what to say. They don't respond email, they don't answer the phone, and now they don't even have to respond to PayPal.

This company is the epitome of 'caveat emptor'. It's also very interesting that they have 6 reviews, 3 of them favorable... and 2 of those were posted AFTER I started posting my experience here.

This company is a mess, don't waste your money or time.

I wish I could give this site no-stars. I have left numerous emails, and have tried to call, but they NEVER answer. And if they can't respond to email, WHY would I bother to leave a voicemail. I still have no estimate on arrival for the correct table. I have twice requested the order be cancelled, but have no acknowledgement of that either. I have opened a Issue with PayPal to get refunded.

UPDATE 6/23/14 -- well, it is now 13 days since the wrong table arrived, and NO, I repeat NO estimate on when I can expect the replacement item. I am downgrading this to 1-star. Their follow-up has been to blame that this is a drop-shipment from the manufacturer, but I didn't buy this directly from the manufacturer, so the problem should be dealt with by Zulob.

I wanted to give 1-star, but felt bad. I originally ordered a table with Zulob because their site said the item was in stock. I was not; however even after notifying me that the item was not available, the site continued to show that it was in stock. I cancelled my order, and posted a review. After which Paul contacted me, apologized for the error, and offered me 50% off to remove the negative review and order the table again; I agreed. The 'table' was finally delivered -- it is the wrong table. The descriptions on the box and manifest CLEARLY did not match, so I knew it was the wrong item without opening the box. I contacted Zulob. We are now 72 hours past my notification, and they have not yet provided me any details about shipping the correct table -- except that I will receive notification in a few days. They have, however, been able to have Fed-Ex make an attempt to pick up the incorrect table. Since they are apparently more concerned with getting the wrong table back than actually fulfilling orders correctly, I have requested that the order be cancelled again. How can a company, after KNOWING that a customer will post a negative review (having already asked me to remove one), continue to exhibit such poor customer service. If you order from Zulob, don't expect an easy transaction.

UPDATE 2/19/15: I'm just noting that this company is now called HomeBacca.com -- but of course, they "aren't scammers" -- they just change the name frequently. I also should let you know, that I have NEVER received the refund or any additional follow-up. They are not reputable.
