I ordered the Mangowood dinging table ("blox"), and scheduled delivery for teh exact date that I wanted. The delivery people screwed up and assembled the table in our garage and left before I could sign for it; problem was that it would not fit through any doorway into the house. I called the customer service line and within 5 days they had a new table to my home and assembled IN our dining room :) The quality is remarkable. I have ordered other pieces through them and have never been disappointed. Only issue is they are slightly overpriced and they seem to censor their reviews, which really bothers me on a different level.

I have ordered 3 things from this site; a pair of boots, a watch, and a pair of sunglasses. The boots had some slight scuffing to the leather and were NOT worth the $250 (site stated that they were normally sold for $580) I paid for them- very cheap quality for $250, let alone more. The watch was a joke- strap was wrinkled and the second hand didn't move. Sunglasses were huge (they didn't show a pic of them on a mannequin so you I couldn't tell the actual size). From what I have seen, this site sells the lowest quality good from good brand names or things from a couple seasons ago. Shipping is a flat $9.95, but you get charged for returns as well. If you want a return in form of original payment you have to go to their site and go through the returns page- don't expect money to your credit card otherwise. I won't shop at this site again, 2 out of 3 things were damaged/not working, returns aren't free (as should be with any reputable site- it is another way to dissuade you from returning the crap they sell), and in general not worth my time.

I really like modcloth. I have bough numerous dresses, tops, and accessories from them and have not had much of a problem. I have returned a couple of items without any problem, and never had any issue with customer service. I do not think some reviewers understand the site fully. It is an online store dedicated to bringing together many independent and small brands and getting their names out. From what I have seen, they do not have a specific "in house" brand. Some items are quite costly, i. E. I have been salivating over a $250 dress that is designed wonderfully, only to realize it is made out of nothing more than sundress material. Other items are wonderfully priced. They have a retro edge to a lot of the designs they sell, which is why I love the site so much. Shipping has always been quick when I have placed orders. I never order stuff online that I question how it will fit and I always wait to see other people review items I may want, to make sure it is worth the cost. It is all about being smart with how you shop, and if you are, modcloth is total fashion heaven.

I love this site! After moving away from our home city, I still had desire to have my beloved bubble teas every now and then, but could not find the tapioca pearls (bubble) for the drink locally. While looking for something else, I found this this site and was so happy to find my beloved pearls without having to buy a giant quantity. The site has a very nice variety of nuts, candies, spices, etc. I literally received my shipment the next day, I don't even know how that is possible!

Most importantly: OUR CREDIT CARDS WERE HACKED within a day of buying something (a dress) on this site. Going through every transaction we had made in the past year (the card was 11 months old) this was the only site that did not run on verified and secured payment system. The charges made to our card were all made in China. Stay away from this site, seriously.
I ordered a last minute dress from them and it turned out nothing close to what was pictured, measurements were godawful (I am a size 6 and the dress literally fell off of me), and arrived with a tear down the zipper.
For 3 weeks after ordering, I attempted communication in order to get a refund. I got back multiple generic form emails which did not address a refund whatsoever. They (at the time, I don't know if it changed) had no US phone line- one was listed but nobody ever picked up- tried over 20 times during different times of day to call it.
These are scam artists, plain and simple. They do not represent their products accurately, the quality is terrible, prices are not just barely cheaper than anywhere else, and as youcan see from all of the other reviews, refunds do not happen. Finally, and they aren't secure enough to be trusted with your credit card information. Stay away from this site.
