I used Peapod for 3+ yrs beginning in 2016. I live in the midwest & felt good about giving business to a midwest grocery service even though I had never used this type of service before. Started out pretty well but declined over the yrs. Prices were not competitive, produce almost always near expiration, eggs usually broken, out-of-stock common even though website showed available, wait times for customer service outrageous, no callbacks ever rec'd., website became a horror to use & when reported always the same response-no problems on our end. About the only positive was drivers were consistently pleasant & respectful. Peapod dropped the midwest region with no notice to customers. I placed an order mid-February, order was confirmed & debit charge showed pending as usual. My order never showed up, was rescheduled for following day, never showed up & I never heard another word from Peapod. I found out about discontinuation of service on local news. Peapod senior management should be ashamed on how whole thing was handled. I would never recommend Peapod to anyone in the US.
