This is the worst travel company in the World! They stole the money I paid for my cruise, then they tried to gaslighted me into thinking I cancelled the cruise. They booked the river cruise for me including the airfare. When the airline cancelled my flight and Viking couldn't get me to met up with my tour, they cancelled my trip without my consent which was in violation of their own Contract of carriage. I didn't want my money back, I just wanted them to offer me an alternative trip but they refused and were nasty and very mean. Don't use them.
Tip for consumers:
Even though they advertise extensively on Public television and they use a homey looking Scandanvian looking guy, Torstein Hagen, as their spokesperson, this Company is a scam. They will steal your money, lie to you and will give you no satisfaction. I booked my tour through a big travel agency, Affordable Tours, and they tried to help me. I have used FreeTaxUSA for over 6 years now and have been very happy. When I finished my tax return for 2022, I noticed that NYS had instituted a real Property Tax Relief credit which the 2022 software allowed me to take. Upon reviewing my 2021 NYS Tax Return, I didn't see the credit. After going back and redoing my return using FreeTaxUSA software for 2021, I noticed that the questions that the software asked were not worded properly and led to not getting the credit. I then went and used the 2021 Taxact software and got the proper credit. I now have to file an amended return to get my credit of $269.00. Shame on you FreeTaxUSA.
