Absolute nightmare. Had driver deliver to wrong house, threaten to take my parcel away when I was annoyed that he almost did it a second time. Then no acknowledgement of complaints from DPD, told 'complaints will be escalated', but never are. Today, 30,1,24 after 10y of always having morning deliveries I get a message saying my delivery will be in the evening. Call and explain this is not just inconvenient, but state that as I'm in severe disability group delivering even later is not an option. After appalling treatment so far, they just expect me to compromise for them, & keep having the delivery even later in the week instead of just calling driver and asking him to deliver slightly early. Chap this morning eventually states they will do that. I wait... NOTHING! Call again, told impossible, because an able bodied Man is apparently incapable of reaching forward and getting a parcel out of order, and obviously the world will end if they go off script. However, just to state that the chap this morning did state that calls are recorded, & they do not lie, yet he obviously did.

Spoke to a Manager, who insisted that I have to understand that it's not strange my time slot has suddenly changed after 10 years, they can't possible blah blah blah, but that it is perfectly ok that they inconvenience my life. When I again point out my previous complaints, she states no, 10am today. No, previous complaints started last year. She insists NO, 10am this Morning! No, original complaints last year, & this morning was 9.22AM. She hung up!

This company are beyond disgusting.

Tip for consumers:
I wish companies would drop using DPD. They always tell us to refer back to the companies we buy from, like their mistakes are somehow the fault of those companies. No, DPD should just get their act sorted out, and treat their customers better!

I've been using this company for all my dried beans & peas for a few years now, & never had any issues with them. They are doing amazing work with UK farmers, which are using organic & regenerative farming practices to help protect our soils, & the environment. They also have great recipes on their site too, as well as being available to speak to. I've even used their peas to grow out in my own garden. Winning all round!

Over the last five years I've had so many issues with companies that insist on using Whistl. Whistl are not a delivery company, their own words, but a middle-man distribution hub, who are supposed to pick up the mail and/or parcels from companies, and decide which courier service to send them with. First issue with this: why on Earth are companies wasting time/money with this firm, so that our deliveries are delayed, and passing on the extra cost to us? Second, why do they insist on using a firm who claim they are a 'distribution hub' whilst they also claim they don't hold stock, so this means either the company you order from has to send to them, or Whistl has to collect it first, but BOTH lie about whose job this is, when in actually fact just cut out this middle-man, and get the actual courier to collect it direct? Third, When you talk to Whistl, they fob you off, and blame your sender, so you speak to your sender, who states 'I will contact Whistl, and ask them where your parcel is (baring in mind that Whistl have already said my parcel is still with the sender, dispatched THREE DAYS prior, on 24h dispatch) and it can take 48h to get a reply. Wait, what? Why 48h for a reply? I have to email them. No, call them. I don't have a number for them. I literally looked it up on Google in 3 seconds, you can do it too. They don't answer the phone to us.

Lastly, as an ex business woman I would have been mortified if I'd have had a customer complain to me once. Having one complain to me more than that, over a period of five years, about the same thing, and then claim I couldn't call the company in question? Wow, that right there is the very reason why you shouldn't be using them in the first place! The company I'm using is charging £7.99 for deliver, I've literally paid less for things to get here quicker from America! 'Dispatched' Monday, but NOT collected by Whistl, and told by the company that it states 'dispatch', but it's actually 3-5 day delivery. Groovy Tuesdays, apart from the bit where that's NOT on the web-site, and doesn't account for where other deliveries should still have been picked up by Whistl in the meantime, so why hasn't my parcel? Or the fact that in the past, when this has been LIVE PLANTS, on 48h tracked delivery, they've always turned up DEAD because Whistl don't get them sent out correctly. STOP USING THIS COMPANY!

I've used this company for a few years now, and they've always been reliable, with great customer service. They have a great range, include trial seeds, and labels when you spend over a certain amount, often have promotions on, and are always on top of deliveries. Always on form, and I always look forward to their catalogue coming. As someone on a limited budget, and in the severe disability group, it's important to me that I spend my money with a good company, who supply quality seed I can rely on.

I hadn't realised Quora is full of fakes! I didn't know it literally pays people to ask questions. I really want to help people, so finding out that I spent my limited energy, as a person in the severe disability group, answering people who just don't care, asking inane questions to try getting cash, whilst you don't get paid to share your knowledge, experience, time, compassion, empathy, or whatever, is heart breaking. It's not that I expected to get paid to answer the questions, it literally never entered my head, it's that finding out I was suffering pain, after thinking I was genuinely trying to help, whilst in fact these people just don't actually care, and there is a double standard of our time being worth nothing. I'm considered an expert in my fields, so much so that I've been relied upon to give statement in court, and yet there are people writing the most hideous questions, to get people like myself to waste our time, just so they can get paid. I was told there is a way writers can make money on there, but WE have to pay a subscription to do that. Erm, first, why the double standard? Second, my time, experience, and knowledge is valuable, which I don't mind giving for FREE, on EQUAL footing. Third, I don't actually have the spare money to pay for a subscription to support a double standard, so that someone might, on the off chance, click to support my answer, to a question they're getting paid for.

I like EQUAL opportunities, not... well, whatever this farce is.

Tip for consumers:
Unless you're prepared to waste a lot of your time replying to made up situations, that are basically click bait, to get you to do that, so they can earn money, at your expense of time/knowledge/experience, whilst you get nothing in return, I wouldn't bother.

I tried to order four products through my Amazon Prime account. All four products were shown as Prime next day delivery, to be delivered on the 3rd of Aug 2020. When I got to my basket, I found that the order was split to three packages, and they were all giving a delivery date of the 5th of Aug, despite the fact that each section had large green writing at the top saying 'Guaranteed delivery date: 4 AUG. 2020'. I could change the delivery date back to the 3rd on two of the packages, but not for one. This insisted it would not be with me until the 5th, outside the Guarantee at the top of the product. I called customer services to ask why the system was doing this, and the woman was useless, and just ran up my minutes, then left me on hold, until I'd been on the phone for twenty five minutes.

I hung up, and called back to speak to someone else. This chap said he'd have to be in my account to see what I was speaking about. He then proceeded to say that he couldn't see the Guarantee. I asked'Is this call being recorded?' he said yes. I asked 're you in my account?' he said yes. So how can you not see that Guarantee? But he kept insisting that I was wrong, and it wasn't there. I told him I was going to screen shot the page, and put it on their social media account, which I did. I also told him that when the email came through from this phone conversation, I'd be giving him a bad review for calling me a liar. He never sent the email. I was asked all sorts of nonsense questions on Facebook, given a link to a form to fill in, which claims someone will call you back in 12 hours, filled that in twice, and never had a call back. The first lady I spoke to called me back at gone 5.30pm, was rude, wanted to know if I'd had an issue? Really, what did she think I'd called her for, because it wasn't a social chat. I'd had to get annoyed and tell her to shut up just so I could explain things to her, then she was sarcastic, and proceeded to say that the phone call with the chap never happened. When explaining to her that calling me a liar when my phone records would prove otherwise wasn't great from a legal POV, she hung up on me.
Had someone from Twitter, don't use Twitter, sent me a generic email with the nonsense about ''timated delivery dates' *sigh* I'm sick to the back teeth of saying that estimated is when there are two dates eg; 3-5th, this wasn't the case, they were all next day. Then you get the nonsense that 'n't day is from the time of dispatch', no it is not. Next day is from the time I order, and it's paid for, because your site says on Sunday that I can have it MONDAY, the NEXT DAY! Otherwise from dispatch could mean some point in the distant future.

I call and speak to a nice lady called Daniela on Monday night. She gives me an email to make a formal complaint, and is thrilled that I have the screen shot, because this will help get my issue resolved. Except that email is FAKE and bounces straight back to me, so I resend it using the email link in the email she sent me. Today I have two emails, one saying it would help if I had sent my email to the right department... no kidding Sherlock, would help if I was given the right email address then... so he's passing on my complaint. Sounds great, until I open the second email, which contains a link straight back to the generic contact us page on Amazon, and the 'di'this help you buttons' at the bottom of the email, so I click NO, which takes me to the EU Amazon site, where I don't have an account.

I call customer services, against, ask to speak to a manager, and I'm assured that one will call me back in an hour. I won't have to do a thing, and this will be resolved, because I am right. Guess how that went? I was back on the phone, because no-one called me back. I insisted that this time I was not getting off the phone, so apparently I've spoken to a manager, who has done sod all, except repeat the same nonsense that everyone else has. Because apparently Amazon have the right to redefine the meanings of words. They can put any old nonsense on their site, and it means nothing at all. Guaranteed date? Pah! Could mean next year. Valued customer? Insulted, and don't give a damn. Done anything at all to rectify this? Told me I can order the NEXT DAY AVAILABLE products today, the 4th of August, and have them on the 7th of August. Are you fricking kidding me? And they have the nerve to call this a 'free premium delivery service', regardless of the fact that we pay a subscription, and all Prime products have an added fee on them. We're paying twice for this delivery service, you lying lunatics, that is neither free, nor premium!
