I've taken a couple of Ramit Sethi's courses and found value in every one. I had already gained a lot of value just from his book and newsletter emails so when I found myself struggling to land a career transition and needing more intense help, I went straight to Dream Job. In the program I learned how to get laser focused on the right opportunities and not get overwhelmed in the vortex of too many options, how to find and connect with insiders who worked where I wanted to go, how to revamp my resume so it displayed my value, and how to nail an interview(which I had been notoriously terrible at). Ultimately, I landed the exact opportunity I was after with a 15% raise(they started me well above the entry rate regardless of my lack of direct experience) and remote work.
Several months later, I also bought and completed the Top Performer Package with Success Triggers, Finisher's Formula, and 50 Proven Email Scripts. Success Triggers really helped me isolate some areas where I needed to expand my mindset and has helped me make progress toward breaking down barriers and steam rolling personal growth. Just one of the interviews in Finisher's Formula is worth the price of the whole course, and I bought the interviewee's book as well. I've always been a master procrastinator, and loved to dream of goals and projects and would even start them occasionally, but would rarely finish anything. So far I'm down a few pounds(one of my goals is to lose 15 lbs) and have started making real progress on projects and goals that I've let sit for months. The content in 50 Proven Email Scripts has so far helped me move a work project along that has been stalled for months because of a vendor representative that has been difficult to get responses from even when high level leaders reach out. I took over the vendor communication reigns from my senior director and I not only got a response within 2 days but also got a meeting set up that week, which has been unheard of with this vendor. Talk about results!
