Please don't believe it. I signed up through a membership with Books-A-Million. Waited over 12 weeks for my magazines only to find out through the 800 number that my card issuer canceled the magazines. If that were the case, which I could find no record of, it meant my company deemed it a scam. If I signed up for free magazines, why did you need my card information anyway? At any rate, please don't believe Books a Million if they try to sell you this scam. Waste of time
